CHRONOS Calendar

The International Commission on Stratigraphy of the IUGS has targeted 2008 for the completion of all stage boundary definitions for the global time scale. Beyond that there is a need for an international effort to assemble, integrate and distribute data relevant to for precise and detailed calibration of the time scale and to begin the process of global correlation using this international standard. Papers and posters in this session will highlight various aspects of time scale development, correlation, and calibration.
